With their big noses, round ears and sleepy disposition, it’s easy to see why koalas are so loveable. They spend most of their lives resting and eating eucalyptus leaves, but they’re adorable to look at and can make an unusual addition to your festive fun. So if you and your family are looking for koala themed activities over the Christmas season, here are five ideas to get you started.

1. Read a Koala Bear Story

What better thing to do over Christmas than to snuggle up and read a koala picture book. Stories such as The Koala Who Could by Rachel Bright and Jim Field have a feel-good vibe and will help your little ones to understand that anything is possible. So, pour some hot chocolate, get comfortable and enjoy a delightful tale.

5. Do some Koala Crafting

Koala crafts are great fun for all ages and there are many different things you can do. Draw, sketch or trace a picture then colour it in. Cut out lots of different shades of grey, black and green from various magazines and then arrange them into a koala shape and stick them down.
